Highlighting and Reducing Violence, Aggression and Abuse directed at NHS Ambulance staff
The Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE) and NHS England (NHSE) produced a national communications campaign in February 2022 in response to growing levels of aggression, verbal and physical assaults against NHS ambulance staff – both in control rooms and on the frontline when caring for patients.
In July 2024, the campaign was updated with a refreshed set of assets.
The new campaign features PR, posters, video and social media assets for use by our partners – primarily communications teams in NHS ambulance trusts – as well as any other stakeholders who can help raise awareness of the issue.
This online resource centre contains several items of communications collateral and brand assets which can be downloaded and used by our communications partners. All of the new assets also feature the updated ambulance crest logo.
Our key objective has been to portray ordinary people doing an extraordinary job. All subjects are based on real-life case studies that have been collected from staff in NHS ambulance trusts in England.
